After the conclusion of a Motion to Suppress in Linden Municipal Court, the

Court found the Defendant was illegally subjected to the breathalyzer test and therefore

suppressed the breathalyzer results and dismissed the DWI.

was illegal and suppressed the evidence seized. Subsequently, the Prosecutor’s Office

Cocaine, third degree.

The Defendant upon arrest, gave a voluntary confession acknowledging that he

had purchased Cocaine on the date in question. At the conclusion of the Motion to

Suppress hearing, Judge Coleman found that the

The Defendant upon arrest, gave a voluntary confession acknowledging that he

had purchased Cocaine on the date in question. At the conclusion of the Motion to

Suppress hearing, Judge Coleman found that the confession was elicited illegally and

suppressed the confession. As a result, the Prosecutor’s office dismissed the third degree

offense and downgraded it to a disorderly persons offense.

As a result of a slip and fall accident in the ladies room at work the Plaintiff

sustained injury to her wrist.

Approximately nine months later, the Plaintiff developed a cyst on her wrist

requiring a bone graft. During the trial, Judge Conway precluded the evidence of the

surgery on the w

As a result of a slip and fall accident in the ladies room at work the Plaintiff

sustained injury to her wrist.

Approximately nine months later, the Plaintiff developed a cyst on her wrist

requiring a bone graft. During the trial, Judge Conway precluded the evidence of the

surgery on the wrist since there was no medical testimony corroborating same. At the

conclusion of the four day jury trial, the jury found the Defendant one hundred percent

liable and awarded the Plaintiff damages in the amount of $100,000.00.
